The draft Local Plan 2033 has officially been taken down from Tandridge District Council’s website. This includes all the letters between the Inspector and the Council over the years and other documents uploaded during the life of the draft Local Plan 2033.

Tandridge has republished online some of the old evidence base which includes ecology, green belt assessments, housing need etc. This will all need to be reviewed and updated, as it can’t be used for the new Local Plan, if it’s over 5 years old.

While SWGB is glad to see the back of the old Local Plan 2033, it doesn’t give us breathing space because without an up to date Local Plan we are still going to see the vulnerable Green Belt have planning applications made on them.

Known sites at risk from speculative planning applications are Greenacres sports ground, Alexandra Avenue/Greenhill Lane, Farleigh Meadows, Vicarage Field and Kennel Farm field.
